Here is a listening activity that can be done in a jiffy. It is suitable for a warm up activity to improve your listening skill.
Instructions:
1. The teacher will distribute a slip of unfinished sentences to student (see below).
2. The teacher will play an audio twice for the students in class.
3. The students need to complete the sentences.
4. After they have finished, they need to check the answer with their friends.

This activity is suitable for teacher that wants to increase student engagement in the context of listening skill as this is a fun activity to be done for the teacher and also for the students.
Instructions:
1. The students need to pair up with their friend.
2. Each pair takes two chairs, both of them sit down against each other.
3. Each of them receive a pen and paper then decide who is A and B.
4. Person B will be the first to make an abstract drawing that shows simple shapes.
5. Person A will try to recreate the drawing based on verbal instructions from person B.
6. The pairs will switch roles.
